well the lady slippers are in the Remsen Bog and beautiful as always. These rare flowers are protected in this area but still show all their colors who visit them. I prefer night time photos as it is less wind which makes photos better. These orchid looking flowers are hairy and may give some lots of irritation if tried to pick. They thrive in neutral soil conditions and like being with populations of ferns. they typically flower in late June which they have done again this year.Look up showy Lady's slippers on your search eng for more info.
