Utica Boxer Derrick Evans wins Again!

Derrick Evans of the Lou Ambers Boxing Association trained by Bernard Grimes took no time in figuring out the style of a tall long rangy boxer from Troy NY, Charles Rauker. Evans stopped Rauker in the third round of their match up.
Evans who teamed up with Grimes to travel more and be more active in boxing, shows great promise in the amateur boxing world and all eyes are on the lightheavyweight.
Evans is gearing up for the East vs West Sowdown in Utica when boxer across the Region will be boxing at Mohawk Valley Community College. August 8, is the date doors open at 5pm, boxing begins at 6pm. Tickets are available at the door, or call Janelle at 542-4484 for avanced. Prices are $10 and $15.
