As my brother, Tom, and I were growing up, WKTV was an important part of our lives. Our Dad, Bob Servatius (d.1992), was a news photographer for nearly 30 years through his retirement in 1988. Congratulations, WKTV, on 60 years of broadcast excellence. - Dan Servatius

I had the pleasure of working with Bob at WKTV. He was a true gentleman, lots of fun and one of my best memories. He and Mark Gryska always had a smile for everyone. Bob even had a little tap dance to brighten the mornings. Thanks for the picture!

I worked in two other markets over 40 years and certain people always remain in your memory. Bob was always the one to greet me with a smile and that "little dance" if I was having a down day. He was a joy to work with. Who could ever forget him?

I know what became of that GE camera in the photo. In late 1976, I visited the radio/TV dept. at Central Square HS. They had WKTV's 2 GE cameras sitting on a bench, presumably to create a TV studio with them. However, where it went AFTER that...??

Bobby was great, as Marge said "if anyone didn't like him, there was something wrong with them. Many fond memories.
