The Friends of the Arc Foundation held its 18th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, July 20 at Valley View Golf Course in Utica, NY. Co-chairs of the event were Darlene Mahady and Bob Curri. Golfers enjoyed lunch, 18 holes of golf (best ball format), door prizes, a steak dinner and beautiful weather.
Corporate Cup winners are Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield team: Diane Hobaica, Mark Jorgensen, Bill Virkler, Jr. and Maureen Grasso; Men’s 1st place: Team Crawford: Men’s 2nd place: Synergy Communication Systems, Inc. and Men’s 3rd place: ConMed. Mixed 1st place: Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield; Mixed 2nd place: FM Resources. Women’s 1st place: Team Putnam; Women’s 2nd place: Holland Farms. Men’s longest drive: Steve Nacewicz; Women’s longest drive: Karen Ryan. Men’s closet to the pin: Vincent Colgan – 5’ 10”; Women’s closest to the pin: Nicole Williams - 22’2’’. Team skins were won by Synergy Communication Systems, Inc., Excellus Blue Cross/Blue Shield and FM Resources.
