Vacation Bible School at Tabernacle Baptist Church

Tabernacle Baptist Church, at 13 Clark Place in Utica, will hold its annual Vacation Bible School August 10 – 14, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.

The Vacation Bible School, which attracts 100-120 children, will be based on the theme Camp E.D.G.E. – Experience and Discover God Everywhere. Children will participate in games, crafts, music, science experiments and Bible stories all related to the theme.

The children will also be participating in a Mission Project for the Good Life Club, a Burmese-based organization that provides needed supplies for children in Burma. Tabernacle is collecting vitamins, toothbrushes, combs and unbreakable mirrors, and small unbreakable toys in hopes of putting together 100 bags during Vacation Bible School.

The Camp E.D.G.E. Vacation Bible School is open to children in grades 1-6. Walk-ins are welcome. To register for Vacation Bible School or to donate to the Mission Project, please call the Church Office at (315) 735-7534.
