Two families lost a home, and a three year old dog is dead, following an afternoon house fire in Herkimer Saturday. It was shortly after noon that the fire broke out in the front corner of the two-story home at 327 Pleasant Ave in Herkimer. PHOTOS BY Megan McCoy of Herkimer.
