On Sunday October 11th, 2009 Dolgeville Pop Warner Jr. Midgets and Cheerleaders all wore pink on the field in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The boys wore pink socks and the girls wore pink hair ribbons. Plus - from the 50/50 raffles that were held, they donated $260 for Breast Cancer research. I thought these boys and girls should recognized as every single one of them wore pink with pride!! It's nice to see that supporting Breast Cancer research is important.....even to the smallest of communities.
