YouNewsTM Funniest Videos CONTEST RULES


Your Funniest Video is a contest played both on-line.
The winner is determined by a random drawing.
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

Contestants may enter the contest by submitting their funniest videos to YouNewsTM at WKTV.COM
Contestants must submit their video by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2009.
The winner will be notified by email December 8, 2009.

Prize is two (2) tickets to the December 12, 2009 performance of Brian Regan at The Stanley Performing Arts Center in Utica. The prize is valued at $130.

Only one (1) prize will be awarded for each drawing.
Only one (1) prize per family and/or household every sixty (60) days.
WKTV reserves the right to extend the sixty (60) day rule to the length of the contest,
Contestants must be 18 years of age or older.
The winner will be notified by email December 8, 2009. The winner must reply to email within 48 hours providing contact information or an alternate winner will be drawn.
Winners must claim their prize, in person, at the station, 5936 Smith Hill Road, Deerfield, NY, during regular business hours (9:00AM – 4:30PM), Monday through Friday, no later than 4:30PM on December 11, 2009.
Photo identification is required to claim prize.
Failure to claim prize by December 11, 2009 at 4:30PM will result in forfeiture of prize.
Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions are permitted.
Redemption of prize is subject to any restrictions, and or conditions established by participating vendors.
Winner is responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes in conjunction with acceptance of any prize.
Winner is responsible for any costs related to the acceptance of the prize.
By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising, promotion or broadcasting material relating to this contest, without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of any prize.
WKTV reserves the right to impose an additional age limit.
WKTV may not be held responsible for any technical or mail difficulties that results in a failure in the delivery of an eligible entry, printing or typographical errors in any contest related materials or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail or entries.
WKTV, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WKTV Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
Employees of WKTV and Smith Media License Holding, LLC and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
Void where prohibited.
WKTV reserves the right to supplement or change contest rules at any time.
The resale or auction of WKTV prizes will result in disqualification for all future WKTV contests.
All decisions of the WKTV contest coordinator are final.
