Tappet Twirlers, an automobile club in Rome, NY, recently presented Upstate Cerebral Palsy with a $300 award.
The check, presented to the Rome Tradewinds Education Center in September, will benefit the children’s programs at the agency. This is the third year that the automobile club has donated to Upstate Cerebral Palsy.
“Our club, which raises money throughout the year, enjoys giving back to the community which supports our local riders,” said Jim Brady, president of Tappet Twirlers of Rome. “Upstate Cerebral Palsy was chosen this fall as one of our recipients because of the wonderful programs they provide. It is a privilege to give back to organizations in this area.”
