Over 178 members of The Arc family were aided by The Arc’s Holiday giving program. There were approximately 1,100 items which were collected and distributed such as holiday gifts, food and monetary donations. This assistance was provided to families served by The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter.
Two student groups from TR Proctor High School, the Student Council and the Honor Society, were generous supporters of this years campaign. The Student Council adopted an Arc family and purchased gifts for each individual member while the Honor Society provided a donation that helped with various items such as a warm holiday meal.
The Arc Family is sincerely appreciative to all the local businesses, members of the community and fellow Arc staff for their support and thoughtful contributions to the 2009 Holiday Giving campaign.
