My cousin & wife were: driving up to the Buffalo Head for dinner Saturday afternoon and when we got just north of Poland, he spotted this eagle in a corn field eating a deer carcass. This really was just outside Poland (the town of, in NY state) and I really took these pics. The pics aren't that great but still pretty awesome, huh!?! They're only about 15 miles from us!

Great picture!!! WE've seen bald eagles aroung Hinckley and Lake Delta area!!! Would like to know if they are building nests and mating here too!!

i dont know why you dont think the picture is that great....looks real good to me....wish i could have seen it...my wife and i saw one near starkville but not nearly as well as this one

Eagles have been spotted all over the Hinckly Lake area over the past 3 years. It's an awesome feeling to see them up close They are such a remarkable bird.
