During the early morning hours of 1/26/2010, ice jams further upstream in the East Canada Creek in the Stratford area broke loose and flowed downstream until they piled up near the Rt.29 bridge where a previous jam had been. The ice jammed at this location and inundated properties along North Main Street and at the intersection of Rt. 29 and Dolge Avenue. The ice flow traveled through the parking lot at Automotive Rescue and onto Dolge Ave moving a parked car at the repair shop to within feet of falling into the East Canada.
This car was nearly carried away by the ice flow that ripped through the parking lot of Automotive Rescue.

The people in the houses I feel horrible for, the gentlemen that owns the automotive shop is now going to charge his customers more for the grass seed and the fuel to clean up this mess like he doesnt take advantage of the paying customers already.
