Central New York Roller Derby was walking with Mel Mogensen (MellFire), she was a 2010 Red Cap Ambassador for the Heart Run & Walk. Mel is a stroke survivor; at the age of 23 she suffered a TIA. She has fully recovered and skates with CNYRD. The team was amazed and overjoyed to see all the walkers, runners and volunteers. The Utica Area is simply amazing! Thank you to everyone that walked, ran and volunteered.
