This weekend several local winter guards participated in the Mid-York Color Guard Circuit Championships held at Cicero-North Syracuse Junior High School. Winter guard is an activity that combines the art of dance with color guard equipment. Over the course of two days 57 winter guards from all over New York State convened in North Syracuse to compete at MYCGC Championships, completing their competitive season which began the first week January.
