Shortly before 2a.m. a fire was reported on old Rt. 49 Marcy. It was in an long abandoned building. Numerous Fire Depts. responded, including Maynard, Whitesboro, Deerfield and Stittville (R.I.T.). A good coordinated effort brought the fire under control in a relatively short time, considering the intensity of it.

Jakez, what you're doing is great for fire departments, both volunteer and professional. Your pictures and videos provide exceptional tools for reviewing and educating members of the fire department. Keep up the good work Jakez!

This guy could cause a accident chasing the firemen. He should stay home and listen to his scanner. If he wants to be part of the action he should join a FD. My guess though is no one will allow him in.

Maybe he caused all the car accidents he photographed too? He's a scanner bug...listens to it all day and heads out to be part of the action.

It was on River Road in Marcy, 2 buildings before the State Trooper Barracks on the left. I took pictures yesterday of what it looks like now....it's so sad to see that house gone.

someone should look at jakez as a possible culprit of these fires. He always seems to be on the scene no matter where these fires happen.
