As a Green Conscious business and person, our partnering with Matter of Trust is a natural solution for us to re-purpose hair clippings, and is a safe, non-toxic, and effective way to participate in the Gulf Spill cleanup by donating these clippings to make hair-mats that will soak up the oil.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
1. Call us 315-822-1191 today. Leave a message...we WILL call you back.
2. Make a haircut appointment.
3. Bring in your used nylons with you to your appointment and place them in the drop box. (holes and runs are okay)
4. Leave happy knowing that you not only received a great haircut...but you also did your part to help out! :)

Interesting Fact: A pound of hair can absorb one quart of oil in one minute, and hair mats can be wrung out and reused up to 100 times.
We will be collecting hair clippings for a second wave of donations and have also set up a nylons donation point at our location in West Winfield, NY. We encourage you to participate by coming in and getting a haircut and also bring along a pair of used, clean pantyhose with you for donation (holes and runs are okay).
