There are not enough pictures to show how beautiful this place is. Van Hornesville sits in a gorge carved by Otsquago Creek. A Trail leads down from Owen D. Young down stream passing by several falls. There are falls everywhere. You can see ruins along side some of the falls with parts of a mill still intact (picture 3). Creamy falls was the most spectacular I thought. One stream flows down along stair step rocks merging with the main creek and falling into a pool. Bluebird boxes were placed along the trails especially along Janet's Lane. In my opinion this place was a whole lot better than Trenton Falls. There you have Guards watching every move you make. At least here you can move freely about. I have lived in CNY all my life and I never seen a trail quite like this.
