“July is Salsa Dance month at the Academy of Performing and Creative Arts”
Join us for “Salsa” July at the Academy, 13 Taylor Avenue in Clinton. Two events are planned for Friday, July 16th, 2010.
(HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO POOR RESPONSE) Teen Salsa (ages 13-17) from 5pm – 6:30pm, cover charge is $5/person. This includes Salsa instruction and Social dancing.
Adult Salsa (ages 18 and up) from 7pm – 11pm, cover charge is $8/person. This includes 1 hour Salsa instruction and Ballroom Social dancing.
Please take note of our “Strict” Ballroom shoe requirements to protect the Academy’s professional grade dance floor. Detailed information on this is available on our website: www.ClintonMusicAndDance.org.
This month’s guest instructor is Felix Hernandez, who will be bringing the fun and energetic style of Salsa to Clinton. Still very active in the dance world, recently Hernandez together with his partner Maria Cirino, competed nationally in West Coast Swing on The World Swing Dance Council circuit taking 1st through 4th in the Rising Star Division.
