July 30, 2010 smoke billowed from the roof of 765 Blandina St in East Utica, NY. The fire started around 7:30 in the evening and the police were the first on the scene, followed by the fire department and ambulance. By 10:00 pm the entire third floor was fully engulfed by fire and smoke. At around 11:00 pm the fire was finally under control.
