Echo Cliff

Echo Cliff

There are many Panther Mountains out there. This one is located on the east side of Piseco Lake. A trail starts from Piseco Rd., climbs gradually, and finally turns up the side of Panther. It leads to Echo Cliff with a great view of Piseco Lake. The final section is a steep climb. Up there I saw Humming Birds and Dark-eyed juncos.
The peak of Panther Mountain was behind me maybe a thousand or two thousand feet distance.
On a topo map Echo Cliff shows up as a separate peak but was connected to panther Mountain It looked like a bushwhack down a ravine and up to the peak of Panther.
