The World Health Organization has declared an international pandemic as the number of coronavirus continues to rise. There are more than 102,000 confirmed cases in New York and more than 213,000 in the nation. The positive cases reported include 22 in Herkimer County, 79 in Oneida County and 21 in Otsego County. Local events have been canceled or postponed to limit exposure, and all employees at non-essential businesses have been ordered to stay home.
