Girls Field Hockey
RFA 2, Camden 1 (OT)*
Maggie Closinski finished off a penalty corner in overtime to lift the Black Knights over the Blue Devils. RFA had a variety of chances throughout the contest, but Abby Henderson, the sophomore keeper for Camden was solid in goal making 8 saves to keep her team in it through regulation.
The Blue Devils got on the board first, in the second quarter, off the stick of Paige Halbritter. Before the end of the half, Emma Wright tied things up with a goal for the Black Knights.
Rome controlled much of the play in the second half, but were unable to break through on Henderson until Closinski's goal in the extra frame.
