10-27-20 SCORES: New Hartford, Holland Patent and pair of Clinton teams remain unbeaten on the season

Girls Soccer
New Hartford 2, Westhill 0*

Anna Rayhill and Sydney Mitchell both scored in the second half as the Spartans improve to 8-0 with their seventh shutout of the season. Abby Fletcher and Laura Bedell had assists.

Mia Allen had three saves in goal, and though eight games this season, New Hartford has given up just one goal.

Clinton 8, Sauquoit Valley 0

The Warriors remain unbeaten, improving to 8-0 thanks to their dominant performance over the Indians. Gwen Williams scored three goals, while Avery Maxam had two goals and an assist in the win.

Alexa Bohling, Riley Jones and Katie Dewhurst were the other goal scorers, Mia Lopata had an assist, and Kaitlyn Williams made 5 saves.

For the Indians, Alexa Sheppard made 20 saves facing an offensive onslaught.

Girls Field Hockey
Clinton 3, Little Falls 1

Gianna Trunfio had a goal and an assist to help lead the Warriors to its eighth win of the season. Finley Davignon and Masha Lyubushanin had the other goals, while Jenna Deep had an assist. Sydney Labayewski made two saves.

For Little Falls, Anna Sodekiski scored the lone goal while Avery McLaughlin had the assist. Emma Dooley made five saves.

The Warriors improve to 8-0-1.

Holland Patent 1, Baldwinsville 0

The Golden Knights got a timely goal from Madison Oliver in order to remain out of the loss column through eight games this season. Ella Buchanan made nine saves for Holland Patent in the victory.

HP is 7-0-1 this season, their tie came against also unbeaten Clinton (see above).
