Section III Class C Field Hockey final
Camden 4, Clinton 0
The Blue Devils got first half goals from Emily Walker, Mackenzie Mix (1g, 2a) and Jaden Scott, adding a second half tally by Paige Halbritter as they cruise past the Warriors in a rematch of last year's final to win their third straight section title, at Sauquoit Valley High School.
Camden will play Port Byron at 11 a.m. on Sunday at VVS High School in the Section III C/D crossover game to determine who moves on to the state tournament.
Section III Class D Field Hockey final
Port Byron 2, Little Falls 0
The Panthers got a goal from Jenna Mapley in the first half and Rileigh Gray in the second half as they top the Mounties to capture the Class D title, at Sauquoit Valley High School.
Little Falls finishes their year at 8-8.
Section III Class C girls soccer semifinals
Little Falls 2, Westmoreland 1
Gabby Sylstra scored two goals to lead the Mounties over the Bulldogs at Lowville High School. Jadyn Hysack made 10 saves for Little Falls while Olivia Lindsay had an assist.
Mary Muller scored the Bulldogs' lone goal, and Hailey Postol made nine saves in net.
The Mounties will go for its third straight section title on Friday at SUNY Cortland as they will face Waterville.
Section III Class C girls soccer semifinals
Waterville 5, Frankfort-Schuyler 0
The top-seeded Indians ended the Cinderella run by 12-seed Maroon Knights with a shutout victory at Lowville High School. All of the Indians goals were scored in the second half.
Waterville takes on Little Falls on Friday at SUNY Cortland for the Class C title.
Section III Class D girls soccer semifinals
Poland 7, McGraw 0
The Tornadoes got four goals from Riley Wisheart as they cruised past the Eagles at Chittenango High School. Logan Cookinham (1g, 1a), Leah Basel and Lexi Bates were the other goal scorers for Poland.
Jordyn Squire had two assists and Jessica Batson had a save in goal.
The Tornadoes will face Copenhagen on Friday at SUNY Cortland for the Class D title.
Section III Class C boys soccer semifinals
Westmoreland-Oriskany 3, South Lewis 2 (PK)
With the score tied at 2-2 after regulartion and overtime, the Bulldogs stunned the top-seed Falcons with a 3-1 edge in a penalty kick shootout to earn a 3-2 win and advance to the Class C final at VVS High School.
Jesse Sweet and Caleb Miller scored the Westmoreland-Oriskany goals in regulartion, while Andrew Pysnik was stellar in goal making 14 saves.
The Bulldogs advance to face Bishop Grimes in the Class C final on Tuesday, November 5 at back VVS High School.
