The Black Knights got goals from Joey Gulla (1g, 1a), Jake Hall (1g, 1a) and Jason Combs, along with three assists from Griffin Eychner to open up their season with a 3-1 win over Whitesboro at Whitestown Ice Rink, Tuesday.
Isaiah Nebush had 32 saves in the victory.
Troy Chamberlain scored the Warriors' lone goal in the dying seconds of the third period, while Cameron Manley made 16 saves in goal.
