NEW YORK MILLS, N.Y. – The Central New York SPCA is looking to find homes for 14 dogs they took in from an owner in New York Mills who could no longer care for the pets.
The beagle mixes were seized from the home on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and all appeared to be in good health.
The CNY SPCA says 17 other dogs were already surrendered from this residence on Aug. 11, because the owner was too overwhelmed to are for all of the animals. This week, the owner said they needed to get rid of the rest of the dogs or face eviction.
According to the CNY SPCA, all 17 of the dogs they took from this residence in August have found homes already.
The 14 beagles will be spayed or neutered within the next two weeks, and then placed up for adoption.
