VERONA, N.Y. – Two drivers were injured in a crash on Route 365 in Verona Thursday evening, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say 81-year-old Marianne Macdonald, of Canastota, was driving west when she passed vehicles in the turning lane, and then attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Route 31 from the center lane, through a red arrow.
As she was turning, Macdonald was hit by a truck driven by 35-year-old James Kingsley, of Rome.
Both Macdonald and Kingsley were sent to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
No tickets have been issued at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
