Two million dehumidifiers sold at multiple national retailers from 2009 to 2017 have been recalled because they may overheat and catch fire.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, no injuries have been reported, but there have been 107 burn or fire incidents that caused about $17 million in property damage overall.
The recall applies to several models from brands like Amana, Danby, Honeywell and Whirlpool.
The appliances were sold at various stores, including Lowe’s, Costco, Walmart and Menards, ranging from $120 to $430.
