SANGERFIELD, N.Y. – Two women were injured in a crash in the town of Sangerfield on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol says two vehicles collided at the intersection of Sangerhill and Saw Mill roads around 3 p.m.
Maciol says 19-year-old Jenna Misiaszek, of Oriskany Falls, failed to stop at the stop sign, and drove through the intersection, before colliding with 55-year-old Christie Selinsky of Waterville.
Both women were treated at the scene and then taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center for further evaluation.
Misiaszek was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way, and will appear in court at a later date.
