4 locals graduate from Utica Fire Academy

A total of 15 firefighters have graduated the Utica Fire Academy just in time for the holidays.

A total of 15 firefighters have graduated the Utica Fire Academy just in time for the holidays.

Four are from local fire departments including Camden, Little Falls, Oneida and the town of Western.

Congratulations to Hunter Hall of Camden, Aaron Wilson from Little Falls Fire Department, Bradley Ano from Oneida, and Joseph Rowlands from Western Fire Department.

It's the academy's 34th graduating class.

Aspiring firefighters from across the state attend the fire academy in Utica.

Other graduates are: Bryan Barry from Beacon Fire Department, Jonathan Magyar with Cherry Valley, Jeffrey Lonczak from Cohoes, Ryan MacPherson from Cohoes, Alex Hamblin with Fulton, Ian Pisaneschi with the New London Fire Department, Jenna Calandros with Plattsburgh, Jess Mango from Saratoga Springs, Mitchell Burkeand Andrew Hartman both from Schenectady.
