SYLVAN BEACH, N.Y. (UPDATED) – Four people were found unresponsive at the Sylvan Beach Mobile Home Park early Tuesday morning from apparent drug overdoses.
Authorities were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. to find a 46-year-old woman, 26-year-old man and a 34-year-old man outside on the porch, and a 53-year-old man unresponsive on the couch in the living room.
All four were treated with Narcan, and were revived. The 26-year-old and 53-year-old men were taken to Rome Health and the 46-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were taken to Oneida Health for evaluations. Police say they are all expected to survive.
Five children were also found inside the home at the time of the incident, ages 2, 4, 5, 9 and 10. They are all staying with a family member at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
