Herkimer Co. Board of Elections to extend office hours before Election Day

The Herkimer County Board of Elections will be extending its office hours on several days during the next month ahead of the November 7 election.

HERKIMER – The Herkimer County Board of Elections will be extending its office hours on several days during the next month ahead of the November 7 election.

Residents who need to register to vote must do so by Friday, October 13 in order to be eligible to vote in November. Those who need to change their address in their voter registration information must do so by October 18.

The BOE’s normal office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. They will be extending office hours on the following days:

- Thursday, October 24: 5-7 p.m.

- Saturday, October 28: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

- Thursday, November 2: 5-7 p.m.

- Saturday, November 4: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

If you’re unable to visit the Board of Elections office in person, you can find the voter registration form and absentee ballot application at herkimercounty.org/elections.
