A 61-year-old Ilion man was arrested after he was accused of forcibly touching a child under the age of 17.
ILION, N.Y. – A 61-year-old Ilion man was arrested after he was accused of forcibly touching a child under the age of 17.
John W. Farrington was arrested Feb. 2, and charged with second-degree criminal sexual act, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police are not releasing any more details about the case to protect the victim’s identity.
Farrington was arraigned and remanded to Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
