ROME N.Y.-It was a packed house at Delta Lake State Park Saturday night for the 6th annual Moonlight Trail Night.
A huge crowd of people showed up for the event. The event benefits the Relay for Life of Rome.
There was a One Mile Lit Trail for walking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, as well as live music and food trucks on hand.
New this year was a Horse and Sleigh Ride.
Chris Lambe, A Board Member with Positively Rome says without support from a few local businesses, and of course the turnout, the event would not be possible.
"This is the 6th year that we're doing this.” said Lambe. “This event is made possible with so much community support including Don's Carbone Subaru. We've got Mangia Macrina, Spuds and ICAN to support us. This is a great turnout we're expecting over 1,000 people again this year. Just one of the best events because it's so easy, we just want everybody to come out on this beautiful night and walk around a little bit." Lambe added.
Proceeds donated to the Relay for Life of Rome from the event will go towards their efforts to research and cure cancer.
