VERONA BEACH, N.Y. – A 72-year-old Verona Beach man has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.
Rome Police Detective E. A. D’Alessandro began investigating Paul L. Fuller in July, finding evidence of Fuller subjecting the young girl to sexual contact. After a warrant was issued by Oneida County Court, Fuller was arrested by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Warrant Unit on Nov. 21.
Fuller was indicted on charges of predatory sexual assault against a child who is less than 13 years of age, as well as first- and second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, all felonies.
After his arrest, Fuller was transported to the Oneida County CAP Court where he was arraigned and held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility without bail.
He will appear in Oneida County Court at a later date.
The victim has been offered counseling through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center and an order of protection has been requested on the her behalf.
