COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Colgate Raiders were out on the hardwood Friday, but it was an ending to the team's quest.

It was a heartbreaking loss for Colgate men’s basketball team falling to No. 2 Tennessee 77-70, but what a game it was.

Fans watching from home in Hamilton at Donovan's Pub near Colgate University say they are beaming with pride that the team went toe-to-toe with the "big boys."

The Raiders, the 15 seed, hung around until the very end of the first-round NCAA tournament game in Columbus, Ohio. The team stayed within roughly the 10 to 15 point range throughout the entire game.

Many are proud of this team for all they accomplished this year.
