Marcy, N.Y. - Whitesboro held off a second half offensive push from New Hartford as the Warriors hung on to win 4-1 at Ed Wadas Athletic Complex, Wednesday.

The Warriors avenged a 3-1 loss to that very Spartans team one week ago.

"We definitely needed to keep more possession of the ball (than last time out) and that’s what we did today," said Warriors head coach Renee LaValley. "To be able to have them come here and put up a good show I thought was awesome."

Whitesboro had four different goal scorers in the contest with Emma Scranton, Isabella Callahan, Kelcie Mulligan and Angie Cirasuolo each adding markers. Kaiden Steele had two assists in the contest.

Sophia Timmerman was the lone goal scorer for the Spartans off of an assist from Sophia DeLuke.

In goal, Jessica Mahardy was strong for the Warriors, especially in the second half, making 10 saves in total. For the Spartans, Emilee Clarey made nine stops.
