ADK Barrel relocating to Utica's Bagg's Square district

ADK Barrel Cooperage, a company that builds barrels for the craft beverage industry, is relocating from Remsen to Utica.

UTICA, N.Y. – ADK Barrel Cooperage, a company that builds barrels for the craft beverage industry, is relocating from Remsen to Utica.

The company is buying 2.2 acres in the Bagg's Square district near the Adirondack Bank Center from the Urban Renewal Agency for $180,000.

In addition to the manufacturing facility, AKD Barrel will also being opening a tasting room and restaurant.
