UTICA, N.Y.-Union Station was busy Friday night, but not with people waiting to take the train or bus.
Abraham House held it's annual fundraising gala called "A View of Hope".
Gina Ciaccia the Executive Director of Abraham House says the event is one of the biggest of the year for the non-profit organization.
"The beautiful Union Station historic train station; we have transformed it tonight for our annual gala event. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and it helps us provide free care for the terminally ill in our community." Ciaccia said. "This one is the most profitable, so we've been chipping away at the profit margins we hope to clear $50,000 off of this event this year." Ciaccia added.
The event was very well attended. Around 500 people came to the train station for the event.
