UPDATE-According to New York State Police, at about 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, crews responded to a head-on crash on State Route 12 in Boonville.
They said Kathryn D. Meyers, age 69, of Boonville along with 10-year-old passenger were driving north on State Route 12 when she tried to make a left turn and collided with a pickup truck that was coming from the opposite direction.
The driver of the pickup truck, Dennis L. Wickham, age 65 from Stratford, NY along with his passengers in his vehicle. All were transported to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

BOONVILLE- Several crews responded to an accident in Boonville that shut down Route 12 between East Schuyler Street and Woodgate Drive. The accident happened around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
According to law enforcement officials at the scene, six people were transported to the hospital. No word on extent of injuries.
Route 12 opened back up around 8:30 p.m.
