The Oneida County History Center celebrates Black History Month with an event themed around 'African Americans & the Vote'.

This local celebration follows the 2020 national theme, African Americans and the Vote, which addresses the ongoing struggle on the part of both black men and black women for the right to vote. Free and open to all.

The event runs from 1:00-3:00pm this Saturday, February 1st, at 1608 Genesee St in Utica.

There will be guest speakers, poetry recitals, dance presentations, music, and light refreshments.
