UTICA, N.Y. -- For the second time in the last two months, a fire broke out at the former Charles Town Factory Outlets on Turner Street.
Fire fighters got there around 6:45 Sunday night where they saw thick, black smoke coming from the building.
They found several small fires burning in different locations on the third and fourth floors.
Fire departments from Utica, Schuyler, Frankfort Center, and Frankfort Hill were able to put out the fire quickly.
Conditions inside the building aren’t good. Utica Fire Chief Scott Ingersoll says the roof has collapsed in many areas, there are holes in the floors, and it's very dangerous for the firefighters to be working in the structure.
The fire is currently under investigation, and according to Ingersoll it does look suspicious.
