NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- Where the county has been and where the county is going – Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente delivered his 13th State of the County address Tuesday afternoon.
It focused on veteran homelessness, the downtown hospital, the opioid epidemic, and the topic of marijuana legalization.

Topics on his agenda are:

In last year's State of the County address, Picente touted the county's fiscal achievements saying for five years in a row there was no raise in the property tax levy.
He talked about the progress already taking shape in Utica’s U-District, and development in Rome at MVCC and Griffiss, education, health, and the opioid epidemic.
