LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. – Herkimer County Public Health is scheduling appointments for the Oct. 1 rabies clinic in Little Falls.
The clinic will be held at the Little Falls town garage, 478 Flint Ave., from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
According to health officials, cats and dogs should get two rabies vaccinations one year apart, and then one every three years after that. Ferrets should be vaccinated every year.
Pet owners are asked to bring the pet’s vaccination history to receive a three-year certificate.
A $5 donation is requested, per pet, to cover costs.
