HERKIMER, N.Y. – Arc Herkimer has used a donation from the Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program to buy a new indoor playset for the Valley Commons Parental Education Program.
The program helps parents with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn basic life and parenting skills.
Arc Herkimer applied for the match program this past year, and used the awarded money to purchase the playset, which has a slide, tunnel and other activities for children.
The Stewart’s Holiday Match Program awards funding to various organizations from Thanksgiving until Christmas each year.
