ONEONTA, N.Y. - An arrest has been made in relation to two robberies that occurred in Otsego County early Friday morning.
Oneonta Police say they have arrested 41-year-old Brian Ruple of Oneonta on two felony charges of robbery and attempted robbery.
Police say just before 1:30 a.m. Friday morning, Ruple entered the Quick Fill convenience store on Chestnut Street in Oneonta and grabbed money while the cash drawer was open.
Police say the clerk stopped the suspect and suffered a stab wound.
Then later on, at 6:30 a.m. Friday morning, police say Ruple went to to Taylor's Gas Station on Main Street in Oneonta and stole an unspecified amount of money.
Ruple is being held at the Oneonta Police Department until he is arraigned.
