VIENNA, N.Y. -- A Solvay man was arrested Sunday, March 22, after allegedly breaking into a garage, and destroying a homeowner's property in the town of Vienna.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office arrested 36-year-old Dale Martin on burglary charges.
Authorities say around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, a homeowner on Kimball Road saw a man walking on the road acting suspiciously. The homeowner went inside his house and noticed the man was looking in his window. The homeowner called police, and the man walked into the back yard and into the garage, destroying several items.
Police say the man would not talk to police or come out, so a SWAT team was eventually called in and arrested him. Martin was taken to the Oneida County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment.
