NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- After over a month in the hospital, Assemblyman Brian Miller was released following his battle with coronavirus.
Surrounded by MVHS staff, Miller drew applause as he was wheeled out the door. He was asked how do you feel, he said "I feel like a million bucks, I couldn't have done it without you."
Miller tested positive back on March 20th and was hospitalized days later. He was in the intensive care unit at MVHS for nearly a month.
He announced on his facebook page on April 28th that he was out of ICU. "I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to those who offered their support and encouragement during the past several weeks. The outpouring of love from our community and from people throughout New York was profoundly moving. "
