NEWPORT, N.Y. – At least one person was airlifted to the hospital after a crash in Newport Wednesday afternoon.
Police were called to the intersection of Butler and Hawthorne roads around 2 p.m., after a two-car crash involving a Corvette convertible. Both vehicles ended up in a field roughly 20 yards away from each other after the collision.
