UTICA, N.Y. – Murder suspect Naythen Aubain appeared in Oneida County Court Wednesday via Skype, where the prosecution asked for more time to gather information.
Aubain is accused of killing his 90-year-old grandmother, Katherine Aubain, and their 87-year-old landlord, Jane Wentka, in January of 2019.
Aubain pleaded not guilty in March of 2019.
On Wednesday, the prosecution asked for more time to gather Aubain’s medical information, do blood tests and complete their own psychiatric evaluation.
Aubain’s next court date is scheduled for Sept. 17.
